Day 1 :   Depart to Medan

Arrival at Medan airport, then transfer to local restaurant for lunch. Start the journey to Parapat Lake Toba, drive along the road which offers the endless view of rubber, palm oil, cocoa plantations and paddy fields. Stop at Pematang Siantar to buy some local snacks. Then check in hotel and dinner in Parapat.

After breakfast at hotel, Samosir island tour by boat: visit Tomok village to see the Batak King’s tombs and Ambarita village to see the traditional Batak village with the stone court and the execution place. After lunch in Parapat, take the bus ride to Brastagi: visit Simarjarunjung, the highest point by Lake Tob, Batak long house and Sipiso piso waterfall. Then check in hotel and dinner in Brastagi.

Day 3 :    MEDAN

Morning visit Gundaling hill to see the two active volcanoes in Brastagi: Mount. Sibayak and Mount. Sinabung and Fruit Market. Proceed on two hour jouney to Medan. After lunch in Medan, city tour and shopping: visit Sultan Palace, Grand Mosque, Batik  house, Pusat handbroidery, Medan Mall, Sun Plaza, etc. Dinner and check in to hotel in Medan.

Day 4 :   Depart for Home

After breakfast, transfer to airport, departure by flight back to sweet home.

Tour members are deemed to have read,understand and acceptedthe following:-

SMART HOLIDAY’S and its sales/authorized agents are reffered to as “the organizers”

1. The organizer’s convenants to include in tour fare:-

Return economy class group ticket, excluding taxes which are non-refundable and non-negotiable.
Accommodation is based on half twin sharing for adults; child fare is based on the child as third person in twin or double room of two adults without extra bed. If a child occupies a half twin, there is a surcharge.
In the case of triple sharing, a roll-away bed will be provided for the third person.
All meals, sightseeing and other term as specified in the itinerary.
Porterage of one luggage not exceeding 20kilo per person.
Tour fair exclude visa fees, expenses on purely personal nature such as laundry, telephone calls excess baggage charges, beverages, personal and baggage insurance, gratuities to drivers and escerts, optional tours.
No refund of reduction will be made to any person or individual who does not participate  in or who forgoes any sightseeing tour, transfer or accommodation so provided at any time during the course of the tour, for whatever reason.
Administrative fee RM100-RM500 per person will be imposed for any amendments made after reservation are acted upon.

2. DEPOSIT - A deposit of RM300-RM1000 per person must be paid upon reservation and the balance must be paid up before 14days prior to the date of departure. All deposits paid are non-refundable and non-transferable. All payment by credit card are subject to 2.5% convenience fee.

3. CANCELLATION - In the event of cancellation of tour reservations after settlement of deposit and/ or full payment, the following cancellation fee will apply:

a. More than 35 days before departure – RM300 or 25% of tour fare per person or whichever higher.

b.15 – 34 days before departure – RM600 or 35% of tour fare per person or whichever higher.

c. 08 – 14 days before departure – 50% of tour fare per person.

d. 03 – 07 days before departure – 75% of tour fare per person.

e. Less 03 days before departure – 100% of tour fare per person.

f. In the event of booking of tour packages, operated on an extra flight or charter flight which is not within the normal airlines schedule. Deposit is non-refundable and the ticket full fare will be charged to the passenger if any.

4.MEALS – As specified in the itinerary, other specified meals, if available can be provided at extra charge. Appropriate meals for Muslim and Vegetarians passengers can be arranged on request basis subject to the availability.

5.PASSPORT – All passengers must personally ensure that their passport be valid for as least 6 months before travel.

6.TICKET - The tickets restricted to certain designated airlines only. They are non-endorsable, non –transferable, non-reroutable.

7.VISA APPLICATION – All passengers are encouraged to process their own visa. Assistance is offered by the organizer but is not guaranteed. The organizer  cannot be held liable for any loss of passport(s) due to any reason whatsoever including without limitation, negligence on the part of our employees, agents and/ or servants.

8.EXTENSION STAY – Extension of stay after the end of the tour is subject to the ticket validity and seats availability. Extension of stay/ deviation will be passenger’s own expenses and no transfer will be provided to the airport for the return flight. When extension of stay/ deviation can not be confirmed prior to group’s departure, passengeris deemed to be taking the original tour schedule.

9.CHANGE OF ITINERARY – The organizers and its authorized agents reserves the right to change the itinerarywith or without notice due to operational reason.

10.TOUR CANCELLATION – The organisers reserve the right to change any tour, postpone or cancle prior  to departure for any reason whatsoever including insufficient group size. Should this happen, the entire payment will be refunded without any obligation the part of the company. In which event no liabilities whatsoever should be borne by the organizers in respect of such cancellation,

11.GROUND TOUR HANDLING - The organizers endeavors to provide exclusive ground handling on all transportation and sightseeing services. However, tour members may be placed on seat-in-coach basis where necessary due to insufficient group size.

12.TRAVEL INSURANCE – All passengers are encourage to purchase a travel insurance scheme.

13.TOUR LEADER – This will only arrange for a group of minimum 15 adult passengers. The organizer reserved the right to reject the cancellation from the passengers on the reason of no tour leader provided and the passenger is deemed  to be taking  the original schedule. Or, if any cancellationm item No.3 may be imposed and acted to the passenger accordingly.

14.COORPERATION – Should there be difficult and uncooperative Tour Members during the tour, whose act and conduct deem to be unreasonable and determinal to the enjoyment, interests, well-being and safety of the other Tour Members and the smooth running of the tour in general, the tour leader concered possesses full direction to deal with such person as he/she deems fit, including requiring him/her to leave the tour. The decision of the tour leader in the respect is final and conclusive and the Company shall not make refund for any uncompleted part of the tour.

15.LATE BOOKING – Late booking less than 7 working days priorto departure will be accepted subject to availability of accommodation and flights. Late booking request should be accompanied by full payment for necessary operation processing.

16.RESPONSIBILITY – The organizers and/ or its authorized Agents acts only as agent for the transportation companies, hotel and othe participants in the programme and tickets, documents, notice letters and other correspondence are issued subject to the term and conditions contained in the contract under which the services are provided by the participants. The organizers and its transportation company ,  hotel and other participants in this programme shall not be held inconvenience of whatever nature and however caused or arising from the following:-

a. Any mistake , error, inaccurancy, misdescription, change, alteration or amendment to any tour schedule or the itinerarywhether material or otherwise.

b. Any additional expenses or costs due to delays caused by changes in the flight schedules or any other travel schedule, sickness, weather conditions, strikes, riots, fire, floods, commotion, war, quarantine and any other cause beyond the control of the organizers and its authorized agents and the other participants in the programme.

c. Loss or damage of baggage and personal effects during the journey or on transit or in the event of an accident save is the same were cause by any act of negligence or willful neglect attributableto the company and/ or its authorized agents.

d. Any abrupt terminations of services by transportation companies, hotels and other particioants in this programme due to bankruptcy, liquidation, closure or suspension of business or any other causes so ordered by the authorities.

e. Any alteration on the routing or change of travel by passengers is solely at his/her own risk. The organizers shall not be held any inconvenience cause and extra expenses incurred.

f. The organizers shall not be held the responsible for deportation of refusal of entry by immigration Authorities to/of tour member resulting from the possession of unlawful items of holding improper travel documents or other causes of whose behavior and activities are considered as subversive by the foreign government concerned. There is a absolutely no refund to tour member who had been refused entry.

17. The organizers reserves the right to adjust the cost of package prices due to currency fluctuations or increase in air, rail, road or ferry transportation and international airpotrt taxes after acceptance of a booking up to and including the date of departure.

18.The organizers reserves the right to cancel the tour due to any act of God, War, Strike, Riot or order from the government of Malaysia which is beyond its control. The organizers shall recommend tours preferably of the same destination or other tours. Should any passenger decide not to accept the alternative tours, all moneys paid less administrative fee chargeable will be refunded to the passenger.

19. In the event of cancellation by the organizer due to inability to secure seats or accommodation, the company will refunded the amount of the money paid and the following compensation will imposed (subject to the late booking as specified on item No.15) :-

08 – 14 days working days, full refund of tour fare and a compensation of RM50 per person.
01– 07 days working days, full refund of tour fare and a compensation of RM75 per person.
On the date of departure, full refund are compensation of RM100 per person.

20. Tour payments based on cash terms, if payments by credit card subject to surcharges.

21. In the event of a difference in the Chinese version, the English version will be deem to be the correct version.
