OSAKA is a city in the Kansai region of Japan's main island of Honshu, a designated city under the Local Autonomy Law, the capital city of Osaka Prefecture and also the largest part of the Keihanshin metropolis, which comprises three major cities of Japan, Kyoto, Osaka and Kobe. Located at the mouth of the Yodo River on Osaka Bay, Osaka is Japan's third largest city by population after Tokyo and Yokohama.


Osaka is well-known for its giant underground Malls and her very own Osaka Castle. The Dotoburi area is a special place to sample Japanese food.

Day 1 :   Arrival Osaka

Upon arrival at Kansai Airport, transfer to hotel by seat-in-coach.

Day 2 :   [SIC] Full Day Tour Kyoto with lunch (Lunch)

  • After breakfast, own arrangement to Osaka Granvia Hotel for SIC Tour.
  • Nijo Castle – The Kyoto residence of the Tokugawa Shogun, the main keep of which was built in 1603, is noted for the contrast of its solemn exterior and gorgeous interiors.
  • Kinkakuji Temple – This temple is renowned for its beautiful Japanese garden and stunning Golden Paillion.
  • Kyoto Imperial Palace – This exclusive compound can only be accessed as part of an organized tour group. (When Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed, Kitano-tenmangu Shrine will be visited instead.)
  • Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine – See the thousands of tori gates.
  • Sanjusangendo Hall – Is the popular name for Rengeo-in, a temple in eastern Kyoto which is famous for its 1001 statues of Kannon, the goddess of mercy.
  • Kiyomizudera Temple – The most celebrated temples of Japan, 1994 was added to list of UNESCO World Heritage, best known for wooden stage. Tour disbands at Osaka Station. (Own arrangement back to hotel).

Day 3 :   [SIC] Afternoon Nara Tour (Breakfast)

  • After breakfast, free at own leisure until time to meet SIC tour at Osaka Granvia Hotel.
  • Todaiji Temple – See the towering Great Buddha housed in the world’s largest wooden building
  • Kasuga Grand Shrine – The most famous and beautiful Shinto Shrine in Nara, it features some 3,000 antique stone and bronze lanterns.
  • Nara Nagomikan – Offers a wide variety of local crafts, goods and souvenirs. Board a train back to Osaka, tour disbands at Osaka’s Namba Station. (Own arrangement back to your hotel).

Day 4 :   Free At Own Leisure (Breakfast)

After breakfast, free at own leisure.

Day 5 :   Osaka Departure (Breakfast)

After breakfast at hotel, free at leisure until seat-in-coach transfer to airport
